The application’s interface is made up of two elements: at the top there’s the window that plays the media you select the playback controls and buttons for other functions are presented at the bottom. First up you’ll have to download an installer, then you’ll have to run it, and then you’ll have to click through a setup wizard’s instructions. To install the application you will have to go through a simple setup procedure. This means that you can install DVD X Player on a PC powered by any of these Windows edition. Support for any edition from Windows 98 to Windows 8 is provided. The system requirements for running DVD X Player are: Intel CPU with 350 MHz and MMX, or AMD CPU with 450 MHz and 3Dnow DVD-ROM drive Windows operating system. Another nice thing is that DVD X Player can play locally stored videos and images – it can play images as a slideshow, with the soundtrack of your choosing playing in the background. The nice thing about this application is that it will bypass region restrictions. DVD X Player, as the name so adequately points out, will play any DVDs in your collection.
